Job Summary:
Assists Engineers in carrying out production-related and inspection jobs; assists in monitor materials quality in processing plants and making the required adjustments; maintains and supports documentation and records. Works under moderate supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Compares the physical characteristics of components, materials, equipment and products to technical specifications to identify defects. Conducts simple tests (for example on electrical function, reliability, packaging quality). Records results and prepares simple technical reports. Provides product and component testing using a range of measurement equipment. Assists customers in understanding/interpreting product specifications and application of measurement data. Participates in measurement uncertainty studies for measurements associated with measurement or calibration results. Ensures proper maintenance and calibration of the measurement and test equipment.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
Requires some work experience and intermediate level knowledge obtained through training or on-the-job experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
Diploma in mechanical engg and experience in calibration of 2 years
1) To release the Monthly calibration plan and responsible to calibration of the Instrumnets/Gauges as per the plan. 2) Inspection support for development, Failure analysis on precision measuring equipments like Countourecord, roundness tester, surface finish tester etc. 3) Responsible to assist for preparation and maintaining the records as per ISO/IEC 17025:2017. 4) Participate in ensuring Measurement & Test Equipment (M&TE) capability, including maintaining traceability through scheduled internal and external calibrations. 5) Report and document customer-owned out-of-tolerance equipment findings in accordance with established procedures. 6) Support gauge capability and measurement system analysis (MSA) studies for new gauging prior to release for production use. 7) Assist with calibration of M&TE using approved methods, procedures, and work instructions. 8) Utilize the M&TE management system to maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory of all gages requiring calibration. 9) Assist in conducting measurement and calibration uncertainty studies and support analysis of results as required. 10) Ensure proper handling, maintenance, and calibration status of M&TE used within the scope of assigned work. 11) Support technical laboratory staff in day-to-day laboratory operations, including performing non-scheduled calibrations and measurements as business needs require.Requires hands-on experience on precision measurement machines like Contourecorder, Roundness Tester, Surface Tester, and CMM. Measurement uncertainty studies. Laboratory management skills.
