We’re seeking someone to join our team as a Director in the Drafting team responsible to look after the production of documentation for FX Derivative trades for EMEA, Asia and NY, ensuring accurate trade representation to match our internal risk bookings.

In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships. This is a Director level within the Product Support & Services, which is responsible for providing transaction support and managing post execution processes.

What you'll do in the role:

  • Manage complex processes and/or support significant process management/project efforts
  • Lead in process improvement, project management or technology development and testing across multiple teams and/or divisions
  • Organize own day to day tasks per functional procedures to ensure all priority tasks are completed to deadline specifically using the appropriate systems/tools
  • Identify risk issues, escalate where appropriate & provide assistance in resolving
  • Communicate with immediate team members on day-to-day issues, business process improvements, ideas and results
  • Understand the function of the business supported and is able to consider the implications of their own actions within the group
  • Take responsibility for complex transactions and functions in the team

What you'll bring to the role:

  • Front-to-back knowledge of the processes, projects, systems, markets and instruments that influence their team with a comprehensive understanding of job-related operational/compliance policies and procedures
  • Ability to think commercially, understand the impact of initiatives, risks on the operational budget
  • Operations experience and Good understanding of FX OTC products along with ISDA
  • Ability to quickly digest new information and learn new businesses and processes
  • Ability to think strategically and provide insight into how to improve existing business and technology processes
  • At least 6 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role
