This is a fully onsite role based in Irvine, CA; candidates must live within commuting distance and be onsite 5 days per week.
What You Will DoLead and develop a high-performing engineering team, driving talent acquisition, engagement, and growth.
Execute complex projects with accountability for planning, budgeting, staffing, and delivery of results.
Apply problem-solving and process improvement methodologies to resolve technical and business challenges.
Influence cross-functional teams and senior leaders through clear, strategic communication.
Champion diversity, inclusion, and belonging in hiring and team development.
Ensure compliance with medical device regulations and design control standards.
Partner with customers and key opinion leaders to align technical strategies with clinical needs.
Contribute to financial modeling and strategic planning for product segments or business functions.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in engineering or product development.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver complex projects.
Experience with regulatory compliance in medical device development.
Proficiency in CAD and SolidWorks.
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of direct people management experience.
Experience with Class II or Class III medical device new product development.
Experience designing with catheters and nitinol.
Proven success in coaching team performance and managing talent strategies.
Experience with intellectual property (IP) development.
Strong understanding of healthcare market dynamics and competitors.
Experience in budget creation and financial accountability at the project level.
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
$132,900 - $217,500 plus bonus eligible + benefits. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
