Job Summary:
Supports Engineers in carrying out production-related and inspection jobs; assists in monitor materials quality in processing plants and making the required adjustments; ensures maintenance of documentation and records. Works under minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Compares the physical characteristics of components, materials, equipment and products to technical specifications to identify defects. Conducts simple tests (for example on electrical function, reliability, packaging quality). Records results and prepare simple technical reports. Provides product and component testing using a range of measurement equipment. Provides advanced programming, training, and operation of measurement and test equipment. Assists customers in understanding/interpreting product specifications and application of measurement data. Participates in measurement uncertainty studies for measurements associated with measurement or calibration results. Ensures proper maintenance and calibration of the measurement and test equipment.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspection of incoming components, raw materials, and parts.
- Verify components compliance with drawings, specifications, control plans, and customer requirements.
- Use measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, CMM, Faro arm, and other inspection equipment.
- Maintain traceability for inspected materials, including lot numbers, certificates, and required documentation.
- Review and verify supplier documentation such as Certificates of Conformance (CoC), material certifications, and PPAP documentation.
- Manage and administer the quarantine area, ensuring proper identification, segregation, and physical control of nonconforming materials.
- Ensure accurate status labeling and inventory accuracy within the quarantine zone.
- Coordinate material disposition activities with Quality Engineers, Purchasing, and Production.
- Maintain clean, organized, and compliant quarantine storage according to quality system requirements.
- Monitor, track, and reconcile quarantined materials in Oracle.
- Identify, label, and segregate nonconforming materials to prevent unintended use.
- Create and issue Nonconformance Reports when defects are found.
- Implement and support containment actions for nonconforming materials.
- Collaborate with Quality Engineers during investigations and verification of corrective actions.
- Support deviation request documentation and material hold/release processes.
- Monitor supplier performance through KPIs such as PPM and audit scores.
- Provide feedback on supplier performance by reporting recurring issues or trends.
- Participate in supplier root-cause analysis activities (8D, 5-Why, Ishikawa).
- Support validation and requalification of parts after supplier-driven changes.
- Participate in internal audits or layered process audits as required.
- Support verification of process controls, traceability, and material handling practices.
- Maintain supplier quality and inspection documentation in alignment with IATF 16949 requirements.
- Record and update inspection results and material status in Oracle.
- Use Windows-based applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) for documentation, reporting, and communication.
- Generate reports for incoming quality performance, material status, and quarantine inventory.
- Ensure proper use, handling, and calibration status of measurement equipment.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse, production, and quality departments regarding inspected and quarantined materials.
- Escalate critical supplier or material issues that may impact production or customer requirements.
- Support cross-functional teams during material reviews or quality alerts.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within receiving inspection and supplier quality.
- Follow all quality procedures, inspection standards, and safety guidelines.
