The Role: Business Analyst

We are looking for an innovative and mission-driven Business Analyst to play a pivotal role in building a strategic multi-year technology platform.

Responsibilities:
- Engage with stakeholders (Product Owners) to understand their needs and gather detailed business requirements.
- Document and communicate requirements clearly to both technical and non-technical teams.
- Act as a liaison between business units, technology teams and collaborate with cross functional teams to design and develop effective business solutions.
- Capture functional specifications using user stories with acceptance criteria, user journey's via UX Design and process flow diagrams.
- Coordinate and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
- Contribute to standardizing the business analysis process across different projects in the organization.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role in product development and business process design.
- Proficiency in requirements management using tools (like JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Azure DevOps or similar) and techniques (i.e., Behavior Driven Development like Gherkin)
- Familiarity with process modeling tools and techniques (such as Business Process Modelling Notation and Data Flow Diagrams).
- Knowledge of design and prototyping tools like Figma is advantageous.
- Possessing relevant certifications such as PMI-PBA and/or CBAP is a plus.
Soft Skills
- Must be able to effectively understand business needs and communicate to both technical and non-technical personnel.
- Demonstrated ability to aggressively problem solve in the absence of complete information.
- Proficient in English language, exceptional written and effective verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience in successfully working in a very active and invigorating high throughput environment, demonstrates flexibility.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to derive actionable insights from data.
- Strong interpersonal skills to develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
