INVESCO REAL ESTATE (IRE) was stablished in 1983 and manages global investments in direct real estate, real estate securities including equity and debt, infrastructure securities and master limited partnerships (MLPs). Your Role:
The Analyst Program provides an opportunity to work for a top-tier global Real Estate Private Equity business across multiple disciplines including Portfolio Management, Acquisitions and Asset Management. The candidate will work closely with experienced investment professionals and receive extensive on-the-job training in each of these fields.
Depending on the individual’s performance, the analyst may be offered a permanent position at the end or during the 24-month program, if they have displayed the required competencies and delivered high quality output. Performance will be assessed throughout the program.
- Working with the Portfolio Management team to monitor and manage existing fund parameters, maintain fund models and preparing investor reports
- Creating and editing investor presentations and fundraising materials under the supervision of Portfolio Management and CPM teams
- Assisting the Acquisitions team with deal screening and underwriting across APAC, including cash flow modelling, return sensitivities, verifying assumptions, market research, due diligence, etc.
- Assisting Asset Management in day-to-day active management including capex planning, sell-hold analysis, lease approval memos, refinancing scenarios, preparing annual business plans, updating asset performance and regular reporting
- Manage capital calls and distributions
- Create and maintain fund level credit facilities
- Assist in FX hedging and FX conversion processes
The Experience You Bring:
Our high performing team is seeking candidates who innovate, operate effectively in an agile environment, challenge the status quo and are driven to succeed.
- Educated to at least degree level, ideally in property, engineering/science, finance, economics or business studies
- 2+ years’ professional experience in finance/investment banking, property brokerage, auditing, consulting, or related fields.
- Proficient in Excel and basic financial modelling.
- Familiarity with real estate investment fundamentals, would be beneficial.
- Superior quantitative analytical and numerical ability.
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Chinese & other Asian language skills would be a definite advantage
