DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Credit assistant to join our high performing credit team across Asia Pacific. In this role you will complete data entry, contact customers and work with the sales team regarding credit applications. You will also fulfill duties which include credit releases, credit references, credit limit monitoring, research and reconciliation activities of customer accounts.
You will make an impact in the following ways:
- Vet all new applications to ensure completeness and accuracy in line with established procedures.
- Conduct credit worthiness reviews via credit reporting provider/financial statements/payment history.
- Set up new customer accounts or makes amendments to existing customer accounts within the system.
- Ensure reconciliation of complex customer payments.
- Payment allocations – EFT and Credit Card.
- Investigate process and approve customer refunds.
- Maintain central email inboxes.
- Work cross functionally with Cummins Business Services, Sales and Business to identify potential issues and look for solutions.
- Monitors and reports on balances owed on cash sale accounts.
- Ensure local entity credit activities are in line with Corporate Credit Policies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
- Requires 2 plus years of relevant work experience
- Proficient in Excel, Outlook, Word, Access, PowerPoint, SharePoint experience.
- Experience in working in a credit team environment /function is advantageous.
- Strong business partnering and communication skills essential
- Movex/SAP experience is advantageous
