About Expedia for Business

Expedia B2B powers global travel for partners such as financial institutes, travel agencies, loyalty programs, and other organizations that bring travel experiences to their customers by leveraging Expedia Group’s technology, supply, and data.

As a Product Manager III – CORE Technology, Fintech, Compliance and Data & AI domain, you will own backend services and APIs that power financial flows, tech onboarding, data pipelines and compliance capabilities for Expedia’s B2B business.

What you’ll do:

  • Own the product lifecycle for a portfolio of backend services and APIs that support payments, compliance, and risk use cases – from discovery and definition through launch and iteration.
  • Translate regulatory, risk, and compliance needs into clear, actionable product requirements, balancing customer experience, partner needs, and control effectiveness.
  • Define and drive a multi‑quarter roadmap for your domain, making thoughtful trade‑offs between new capabilities, platform resilience, and tech debt.
  • Partner closely with backend engineering teams to shape architectures, data models, SLAs, and integration patterns for scalable, secure, and reliable services.
  • Use data to make decisions: define success metrics, monitor performance (e.g., latency, availability, error rates, funnel/authorization performance, compliance outcomes), and iterate based on insights.
  • Collaborate across stakeholders in B2B, Payments, Finance, Risk/Compliance, Legal, and Operations to align priorities, manage dependencies, and ensure end‑to‑end solution fit.
  • Champion platform thinking build reusable capabilities and APIs that can be leveraged across multiple products, partners, and regions.
  • Contribute to product practice: share best practices, mentor more junior PMs where appropriate, and help refine ways of working across product, engineering, and partner teams.

Experience and qualifications:

  • 8–10 years of commercial product management experience, including significant time owning backend/platform or API products (not only UI features).
  • Strong technical fluency: comfortable working with backend engineers on service design, API contracts, data flows, and non‑functional requirements (scale, reliability, security).
  • Proven ability to define and deliver roadmaps in complex, multi‑stakeholder environments, ideally with distributed teams.
  • Strong skills in problem discovery (customer, partner, and internal stakeholder) and translating findings into clear product strategies and backlogs.
  • Comfort using data and experimentation to guide decisions; able to work with analysts/engineers to define, track, and act on product metrics.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management, with the ability to explain complex backend and fintech concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
