DESCRIPTION

Job Summary:

Under some supervision, enter data into a database or other computerized system to maintain up-to-date stock/inventory and training records; retrieve stored information to respond to enquiries (for example on inventory levels or delivery schedules.) Perform other routine administrative activities according to the organization's established procedures. These activities may include responding to customer escalations, order allocation, part profile & inventory records; preparing reports, training operators, customs compliance processes, domestic and international transportation related procedures and completing forms (receipt, transfer, delivery, dispatch, etc.)

We are looking for a talented Logistics Planner to join our Manufacturing/Distribution business in (Henderson, CO).

This role will make an impact in the following ways:

• Enter, maintain, and audit inventory, stock, training, and serialized records in ERP/MRP and other computerized systems

• Receive incoming goods and accurately sort, label, package, and store materials to optimize warehouse space

• Coordinate and track inbound and outbound logistics for engines, cores, and related equipment, including BOL creation and freight applications

• Operate manual and automated equipment to pick, pack, and ship product in line with customer expectations

• Perform quality checks for damage and discrepancies between goods, invoices, and system records; identify and control non-conforming material

• Maintain engine and core documentation including serial numbers, control schedules, logs, and data tag paperwork

• Perform monthly audits, serialized API checks, and internal control walkthroughs to ensure inventory accuracy and regulatory compliance

• Respond to customer and internal escalations related to inventory levels, delivery schedules, and shipment exceptions

• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area and perform routine housekeeping and operator care tasks

• Adhere to Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures, and regulations, including PPE use and hazard reporting

• Collaborate with operations, skilled trades, logistics providers, and support teams to meet business goals

RESPONSIBILITIES

In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:

• High school diploma or equivalent experience

• Some work experience or intermediate knowledge in inventory control, warehouse operations, or logistics coordination

• Proficiency in Microsoft applications with strong computer and report-generation skills

• Experience working in ERP/MRP systems, including inventory adjustments, transfers, and freight applications

• Knowledge of warehouse inventory control methodologies and inbound/outbound operations

• Ability to coordinate domestic and international transportation and prepare required shipping documentation

• Strong attention to detail with proven ability to manage serialized inventory, audits, and compliance records

• Effective communication skills with customers, sales teams, operations, and cross-functional partners

• Ability to work safely in a warehouse or manufacturing environment and remain flexible to meet changing business needs

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Core Responsibilities
  • Inventory & Documentation Control: Oversees and maintains all engine and core documentation including control schedules, core logs, serial number setup, and data tag paperwork to ensure accuracy of finished goods and core inventory.
  • Logistics Coordination & Execution: Arranges and tracks all inbound and outbound logistics for dirty cores, finished engines, and other related equipment, including BOL creation, freight application, and communication with branches, customers, and Ops.
  • Audit & Compliance Oversight: Performs monthly audits (dirty and finished cores), serialized API checks, and internal control walk‑throughs to ensure compliance with inventory accuracy and regulatory requirements. Unique Skill, Education, or Experience Requirements
  • Advanced Inventory Systems Proficiency: Experience MRP/ERP systems, including engine/core transfers, inventory adjustments, freight application, and cost transfers.
  • Logistics & Transportation Knowledge: Ability to coordinate multi‑site transportation, prepare shipping documentation, understand freight requirements, and manage shipment exceptions.
  • Strong Analytical & Documentation Skills: Capable of maintaining accurate engine/core tracking documents, serial number data, control schedules, and audit records with high attention to detail.
  • Customer & Cross‑Functional Communication: Experience communicating scheduling changes, logistics updates, and issue resolution with customers, account reps, sales teams, and Operations. Preferred Skills, Education, or Experience
  • Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives , root‑cause problem solving, and process optimization.
  • Familiarity with serialized inventory reconciliation or API (Serialized Data) compliance practices across multiple locations. Education, Licenses, Certifications: High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations. Proficiency in Microsoft applications, generating reports and advanced level computer skills. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. Experience: Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
