Job Details

AptDeco is seeking a Senior Marketing Lead to drive the next phase of growth by sharpening existing marketing channels, introducing new growth strategies, and elevating the integration of brand and performance marketing. This role is ideal for someone experienced in scaling consumer or marketplace businesses, who is eager to execute day-to-day marketing while also thinking strategically about long-term growth.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Own end-to-end execution of growth and brand campaigns across social, content, creators, and experimentation
  • Optimize and scale existing high-performing channels while testing new formats and ideas
  • Translate strategic direction into clear briefs, timelines, and measurable outcomes
  • Plan and manage end-to-end marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness, conversions, and storytelling
  • Determine channel mix and coordinate execution across social, email, paid, partnerships, and owned content
  • Build project plans, timelines, and briefs in collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Own the overall content strategy, including messaging, formats, and stories across channels
  • Oversee the social media calendar and collaborate with creators to produce high-impact content for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, Pinterest, and Substack
  • Ensure content aligns with brand voice, marketplace positioning, and business priorities
  • Monitor trends and adapt content to keep AptDeco culturally relevant
  • Build and manage influencer programs to support acquisition and brand awareness
  • Identify, negotiate, and onboard creators; coordinate briefs and deliverables
  • Track performance, optimize partnerships, and scale successful initiatives
  • Test new channels (UGC, podcasts, affiliates, partnerships, new social platforms)
  • Run A/B tests on creative, messaging, or landing pages to improve conversion and engagement
  • Collaborate with paid media partners or internal teams to align content with performance goals
  • Own weekly and monthly marketing reporting across social, content performance, influencers, and campaigns
  • Evaluate channel performance, engagement, and acquisition metrics to identify insights and opportunities
  • Recommend data-backed improvements to enhance reach, efficiency, and ROI

  • Are a creative marketer who understands social-first storytelling
  • Are analytical and comfortable interpreting data to drive decisions
  • Are highly organized with strong project management skills
  • Are excited about marketplaces, commerce, sustainability, logistics, and/or interior design
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, scrappy, startup environment
  • Have 7+ years of experience in digital marketing, content marketing, growth marketing, or integrated marketing
  • Have experience managing social channels and/or working with influencers
  • Have a strong understanding of short-form video and creator ecosystems
  • Can analyze and report on marketing performance metrics
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Have experience with tools like Meta/TikTok platforms, CRM/email tools, and project management systems
  • Have strong creative instincts paired with a focus on measuring results and understanding what resonates with customers
  • Have marketplace or e-commerce experience (a plus)
  • Have startup experience (a huge plus)
