Job Description
Morgan Stanley is seeking a highly skilled Director of Social Media Analytics and Operational Governance to join our Brand Marketing team. This individual's role will be twofold: to identify data-driven insights that inform strategic decision making, and to create and implement robust social media governance practices. The ideal candidate will be able to translate complex data into actionable insights, will demonstrate a natural aptitude for implementing and maintaining governance processes and can excel in performance-driven environments.

Primary Responsibilities
Analytics:
> Analyze and interpret data from social media platforms to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as interactions, views, click-through rates, and follower growth.
> Produce clear, visually engaging reports for stakeholders, including senior leadership, marketing teams, and cross-functional partners.
> Develop and manage information architecture, including custom fields, tagging, user permissions and themes.
> Promote collaboration within the marketing team and across departments to enhance the impact of social media initiatives.
> Stay informed on social media trends and best practices.

Operational Governance:
> Identify, assess, and manage social media and operational risks, including data privacy and remediation plans.
> Ensure compliance with social media policies, regulations, and internal standards.
> Oversee content signoff and approval processes and maintain and update process documents.
> Collaborate across teams to ensure governance compliance and operational efficiency. Promote a culture of accountability, transparency, and ethical decision-making. Qualifications, Skills & Requirements

Requirements:
> Bachelor's Degree with over 6 years of experience in social media listening, community management, analytics, strategy, and competitive research. Financial services or regulated industry experience preferred.
> Proficient in using metrics and analytics to measure, report, and optimize social media performance, with strong Excel skills.
> In-depth knowledge of social media monitoring and management tools (e.g., Sprinklr, Khoros, Brandwatch, Tableau, Adobe Analytics) and expertise in building dashboards, queries, and using Boolean logic for social listening.
> Familiar with governance frameworks and regulatory requirements affecting social media operations.
> Proven expertise in social media management, particularly on LinkedIn and YouTube.
> Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize high-volume, high-priority initiatives with a commitment to accuracy.
> Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
> Experience with and interest in AI.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $104,000 and $151,500 per year at
the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
