We're seeking someone to join our team as the APAC Head of Capital Management --a critical leadership role within Real Estate Operations. The candidate will drive the Execution, Optimization and Management of APAC portion of Real Estate Capital Project Portfolio of ~$2bn+ across the globe.

In the Corporate Services division, we empower our businesses by creating collaborative workplace solutions and commercial services that enhance the employee and client experience, while optimizing the value of our sourcing and third-party lifecycle to enable the Firm to do-and-win business. This is an Executive Director position within the Real Estate Operations team responsible for Global Real Estate Portfolio which includes ~19m sq ft space, ~500+ Active Projects and Talented group of people driving Innovation, SMART buildings, enabling workplace suited for Future of Work and enhancing Workforce experience.

What you'll do in the role:

  • This Leadership role will require Senior leadership interaction, leading large teams, and driving Project Controls and Management in complex, and geographically dispersed real estate project design, development, infrastructure engineering and construction projects.

  • The leader will drive portfolio and program level controls, standards and tools to support project management of largescale capital programs, ongoing workplace improvements and infrastructure projects.

  • The ideal candidate will have experience working on largescale capital portfolios and be able to manage ambiguity and demonstrate problem solving skill with limited oversight.

  • The candidate will lead team of professionals driving Real Estate Projects Budget build & challenge investment requests, Work with Real Estate strategy teams, Cost Consultants, the Project Teams and Business Units to drive value.


What you'll bring to the role:

  • Min 15 years of working experience (signification portion leading teams and working with senior leadership) in large financial or banking institution with Real Estate experience; MBA an added advantage.

  • A natural leader, Culture fit, collaborative, team oriented, creative, and adaptable

  • Ability to prioritize multiple initiatives, appropriately balance strategic and execution activities, and perform effectively under pressure

  • Experience managing largescale global real estate development projects and portfolio programs preferred; Experience driving projects across global is essential.

  • Strong communication skills & analytical skills and proven ability to build strong relationships.

  • Ability to partner with internal stakeholder groups and to leverage the supply chain and vendors to deliver change.

  • Drive value working with Internal and External Stakeholders in the following areas:

  • a. Portfolio ($2bn+ overall spend) Optimization and Strategic Execution

  • b. Connect dots on external headwinds & internal project developments; Drive story telling & narrative building and socializing them with decision makers

  • c. Drive technology transformation and innovation enabling workforce experience

  • d. Drive sourcing engagement, supply side governance including spend review

  • Lead and Manage teams focused on executing and managing capital projects in the following areas:

  • a. Budgeting, Cost Management, Schedule, Risk, Procurement, Change Control, Contracts, Payments, and Cash flow.

  • b. Manage project wide strategic supplier negotiations for services including performance measurement; On behalf of the firm negotiate and resolve claims and disputes.

  • c. Lead project teams on critical project related initiatives such as Value Engineering, Risk vs Contingency management workshops, Design Validation.

  • d. Develop and own process and tools for project cost, benchmarking, templates and forecasting in an integrated information management process from design and engineering to commissioning and handover.
