Skills & Competencies

  • Strong customer orientation with a passion for delivering exceptional service and resolving client issues effectively
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact in a professional and courteous manner
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to manage inquiries, identify solutions, and escalate issues appropriately
  • Proven experience in customer service or contact center environments (preferred but not required)
  • Exposure to the financial industry, banking, or financial markets is essential, demonstrating familiarity with credit risk solutions and financial products
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams, including Sales, Product Management, and Customer Service, fostering strong working relationships
  • Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency. Interest in exploring AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use. 

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Management, or a related field. Candidates with other majors will be considered if they demonstrate a strong interest in Client Service

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for Moody’s customers, delivering superior customer service across a wide range of credit research and risk measurement products
  • Communicate with clients in a professional, accurate, and timely manner, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining Moody's reputation as a provider of choice for credit risk solutions
  • Identify sales opportunities and proactively up-sell products and services to support business growth
  • Provide constructive feedback on the client experience to internal teams to drive improvements in service and product offerings
  • Develop strong working relationships with colleagues across Customer Service, Sales, Product Management, and other departments to ensure seamless collaboration
  • Respond to client inquiries, resolve issues, and fulfill specific client requests efficiently
  • Identify product issues, triage them, and escalate to the appropriate team for resolution as needed
  • Facilitate interactions between Moody’s clients and Moody’s Ratings analysts or economists to address specialized client needs
  • Support new product launches and business initiatives by participating in training, marketing activities, and providing feedback to internal stakeholders
