Having completed more than 51,000 private placements in nearly 500 private companies, EquityZen is on a mission to deliver “Private Markets for the Public.” EquityZen is looking for a Senior Sales Analyst to support the work of our growing Sales team.
Responsibilities:
- Work with our Sales teams to drive buy- and sell-side transactions in private tech companies
- Prospect and onboard new private market investors and serve as a key investment resource for existing clients
- Generate high intent investor leads for block trades and brokered transactions
- Assist with identifying prospective shareholders of private tech companies, and interact with C-suite operators at both issuers and funds alike
- Assist with day-to-day tasks vital to the success of the team, including; handling client inquiries, helping to execute transactions, providing market color, and other ad hoc projects
- Keep abreast of the latest developments in private markets
- Conduct research on the broader mid-late stage pricing environment and participate in the deal valuation process
- Assist with reporting and analytics, in order to define and test best practices
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree is required
- 1-2 + years of professional experience as an Investment Analyst, Investment Sales Support, or in general venture capital / financial services
- Experience with lead generation/prospecting and/or sales development with an interest in the venture capital asset class
- Demonstrated excellence in writing and communication skills; preferably for a range of audiences (technical and non-technical) to present concise content
- Must be very detail-oriented, with an ability to multi-task and handle multiple priorities
- Collaborative approach and team player mentality
- Process-oriented, data-driven and tech-forward
- Self-driven, motivated, and results-driven
- Intermediate technical skills; including Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
- FINRA Series 7 and 66 (or 63 and 65) licenses required

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $57,000 and $115,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
