DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply documented procedures and policies to perform diagnostics and complex repairs.
  • Perform preventative maintenance based on engine assessments.
  • Complete required documentation, such as work completed documents, time sheets, warranty claims, and quality forms.
  • Complete training in line with skill and business requirements.
  • Coach and develop technicians and/or apprentices, transferring knowledge and experience to others.
  • Maintain work area and tools for cleanliness and proper operation.
  • Adhere to and ensure adherence to all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, and legislation.

  • Product Repair and Maintenance: Repair and maintain mechanical/electrical products following guidelines.
  • Service Documentation: Create and verify customer, equipment, and technical information.
  • Technical Escalation: Obtain product technical issue information and utilize available resources for resolution.
  • Values differences: Recognize the value that different perspectives and cultures bring to an organization.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

  • Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred)
  • Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution
  • Locally valid driving permit (Preferred)
  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

  • Advanced level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products.
  • Experience providing technical advice and coaching to more junior technicians (preferred).
