Cummins is looking for a Service/Administrative associate to joint its team at its Winnipeg location.
In this role, you will have the following impacts:
- Provide administrative support by conducting research, preparing statistical reports and addressing routine information requests.
- Gather, compiles and verifies information and enters it accurately into documents such as reports, presentations or forms; and office systems such as databases or spreadsheets.
- Assist with data collection, data entry and report generation on various departmental related activities.
- Assist with associate functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls and scheduling meetings.
- Prepare documentation for payment of vendors, suppliers and other third parties as applicable; submits documentation and enters request for payments into accounting system; responds to inquiries from accounts payable and payees.
- Prepare work orders and support the service writer role with scheduling and coordinate with different departments (parts, in-shop, mobile etc.)
- Communicate and review repairs, estimates for parts and address issues with customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
In order to be successful in this role, you will need the following :
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
- High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
Experience:
- Requires some work experience (2 to 4 years) or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
- Customer service focused
- Time management skills with the ability to prioritize
- Interpersonal skills
- Comfortable using different software and plateform.
- Warranty experience is an asset
About the role :
- Monday-Friday 7am to 3h30pm
- Role will support both the administration and the service department.
- Salary ranges between 54000$ and 84000$ yearly, depending on experience

QUALIFICATIONS
60% as Service Writer PLUS Administrative Tasks
Process payments, update customer profiles, and track/manage scheduled maintenance.
Assist with warranty claims, phone inquiries, filing, reports, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
