Job Summary
Performs skilled, non-production activities independently to support manufacturing processes in a safe manufacturing environment. The role ensures quality, productivity, and operational excellence while complying with all safety and environmental standards. The position may also instructor coach others and act as an informal resource for team members with developing capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
- Stop work and immediately report major injury hazards.
- Report all work-related injuries, illnesses, incidents, and hazards.
- Comply with HSE standards, policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment and promote interdependent safety behaviors.
- Correct hazards within control and capability and minimize environmental impact of work activities.
- Participate in required HSE training and promote a safe, injury-free workplace.
Quality
- Follow and support the application of standard work, policies, and procedures.
- Raise quality concerns minimizing cost, risk, and exposure.
- Perform quality inspections and support defect prevention activities.
Delivery & Operations Excellence
- Independently perform work processes using company resources to meet customer expectations.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to quality, safety, process efficiency, and employee development.
- Apply Cummins Operating System (COS) practices and Operations Excellence (OE) methodologies throughout the plant.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, including routine housekeeping.
- Remain flexible and perform miscellaneous duties as required to meet business objectives.
Teamwork & Development
- Communicate effectively with assigned teams and cross-functional support teams.
- Coach and instruct less-experienced team members, acting as an informal technical resource.
- Complete required training and personal development aligned with business needs.
- Actively participate in identifying improvements to quality, safety, material flow, processes, and employee development.

Qualifications
Education, Licenses & Certifications
- High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education, or equivalent experience meeting applicable regulations.
- This position may require licensing to comply with export control or sanctions regulations.
