We are looking for a talented Maintenance Planner to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Morristown, TN .

Job Summary:

Performs skilled activities which support manufacturing business needs. Selects and uses appropriate tools, machinery and specialty equipment. Learns and understands the protocols of working safely with electricity and other energy sources with industrial equipment. May work independently and instruct or coach others.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

• High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

• This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

• Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to use ERP system (Emaint), MS office, Oracle tools etc.

• Good mechanical and electrical system maintenance knowledge.

• Day to day Planning & Scheduling of all Spares required on Machine maintenance work.

• Support Maintenance team to purchase required parts, tools & resources through Oracle system.

• Lead Ongoing updates, revisions, additional deletion of asset, job plans, PM plans as needed.

• Planner will be the single point contact for all the maintenance Spares, PM\CM\PD Job Plans, etc.

• Facilitates in management of spare parts list by working closely with maintenance team and indirect store (Crib) to improve maintenance inventory and overhead cost reductions.

• Actively participate in facility equipment upkeep of plant fire alarm system, compressor, Doors, Fork Truck and all other rental services including warehouse.

• Support breakdown maintenance when needed.

• Work with maintenance leadership to facilitate activities during bi-annual shutdown planning and executions. Report the activities in timely manner to management.
