DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Customer Order Management Specialist to join our European Aftermarket team, specialising in Supply Chain Planning for our Cummins Drivetrain & Braking Systems in Redditch, United Kingdom.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Driving seamless end‑to‑end order execution by managing the full order life cycle to ensure accurate, timely fulfilment for assigned customer accounts.
- Serving as a trusted single point of contact for customers, resolving order processing, scheduling, and shipping queries with clarity and confidence.
- Providing consultative guidance on lead times, availability, policies, and minor technical questions to help customers make informed decisions.
- Managing escalations to closure by taking ownership of issues, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Demonstrating exceptional customer support through empathy, professionalism, and proactive communication at every stage of the order life cycle.
- Collaborating cross‑functionally with production, planning, materials, sales, warehouse, and logistics teams to maintain accurate order flow and support financial targets.
- Enhancing departmental processes by documenting best practices, improving communication standards, and contributing to a more proactive, customer‑centric operation.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities, participating in projects, and contributing insights that elevate service quality.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience:
- College, university, or equivalent degree required.
- 0–2 years in customer order management, customer-facing roles, supply chain/logistics, or international trade preferred.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
