Bilingual Payroll Analyst

Scope: Full-time | Office: Medellín / Bogotá  | Hybrid

How a day to day would look like in this role:

• Review payroll updates and manage processing carried out by the external provider, including complex items such as bonuses, commissions, and variable payments, among others.
• Validate tax deductions, social security contributions, income tax withholdings, and employee benefits in accordance with current regulations.
• Review the internal payroll system to ensure accurate data entry and updates.
• Analyze and report key data related to labor costs, employee turnover, absenteeism, and compensation.
• Support other departments with accurate and relevant payroll information to enable strategic decision-making.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in payroll processes through automation, standardization, and operational efficiency.
• Actively participate in the implementation or enhancement of payroll systems and analytical tools.
• Ensure compliance with all legal, tax, and corporate requirements related to payroll processes.
• Take part in internal and external audits, providing accurate data and required documentation.
• Coordinate with Finance and People & Culture (P&C) to align payroll processes with budgets and compensation and benefits policies.
• Manage payroll documentation, ensuring traceability, accuracy, and confidentiality of all payroll-related information.
