DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Production Associate - Level I to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Jamestown, NY.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Champion a safe workplace by proactively identifying hazards, using proper protective equipment, and taking immediate action to prevent injuries.
  • Strengthen the company’s safety culture by looking out for coworkers and promoting shared responsibility for Health, Safety & Environmental standards.
  • Elevate product quality by following standard work, performing thorough inspections, and quickly raising issues that could affect cost, performance, or customer satisfaction.
  • Protect production integrity by identifying and controlling non‑conforming materials before they impact downstream processes.
  • Drive reliable delivery by operating manual and automated equipment efficiently, meeting cycle times, and consistently achieving production targets.
  • Maintain operational excellence through disciplined housekeeping, equipment care, and routine maintenance that keeps machines running smoothly.
  • Support continuous improvement by collaborating with peers, skilled trades, and support teams to troubleshoot issues and enhance processes.
  • Contribute to a strong team environment by communicating clearly, completing required training, and actively participating in efforts to improve safety, quality, flow, and employee development.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strong health and safety awareness , including the confidence to identify hazards, report concerns, and model safe behaviors that contribute to an injury‑free workplace.

Education/Experience:

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Minimal or no work experience required.

Compensation:

Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate’s qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
