As a key contributor to customer satisfaction, you'll ensure every interaction is informative, productive, and positive for both members and providers. Your day will involve live outreach calls to educate members about program benefits and services, while also assisting with case management. Working in a call center environment, you'll handle inbound calls that range from routine inquiries to urgent situations. Active listening is critical, as you may speak with members in distress or crisis. In these cases, you'll assess their needs, including asking sensitive questions, and quickly engage appropriate partners to stabilize the situation before transferring the call. This role requires empathy, clear communication, and the ability to remain calm under pressure to provide the best possible support for our members.

This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 7:00am - 6:00pm PST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime and weekends.

This will be mandatory on-the-job training and the hours during training will be any 8-hour shift between 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM PST from Monday - Friday.

                                                

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage administrative intake of members 
  • Work with hospitals, clinics, facilities and the clinical team to manage requests for services from members and / or providers
  • Process incoming and outgoing referrals, and prior authorizations, including intake, notification and census roles
  • Assist the clinical staff with setting up documents / triage cases for Clinical Coverage Review
  • Handle resolution / inquiries from members and / or providers

                                                

This is high volume, customer service environment. You'll need to be efficient, productive and thoroughly dealing with our members over the phone. You also must be able to work on a flexible schedule that includes evening hours.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent work experience
  • Must be 18 years of age OR older
  • 2+ years of experience in customer service environment (i.e. office, administrative, clerical, customer service, etc.) using phones and computers as the primary job tools
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel (create, edit, save documents and spreadsheets) and Microsoft Outlook (email and calendar management)
  • Onsite work at this location is a mandatory requirement for the role.
  • Reside within a reasonable commuting distance (typically within 30-60 minutes of travel time) of our office at 2720 N Tenaya Way, Las Vegas, NV 89128.
  • Ability to work full-time, Monday - Friday between 7:00am - 6:00pm PST at our office location at 2720 N Tenaya Way Las Vegas. NV. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime and weekends

                                                

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working within the health care Industry and with health care insurance
  • Experience working in a hospital, physician's office OR medical clinic setting
  • Experience working in a call center
  • Clerical OR Administrative support background

                                                

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $17.74 - $31.63 per hour based on full-time employment.
