Manages, develops, and implements finance-related projects of varying complexity and size within the assigned functional area. Partners closely with business stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery while maintaining alignment with organizational goals. Responsible for planning, scheduling, and supervising finance process initiatives, including process transitions, standardization, and operational improvements across global finance functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead multiple finance projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives and organizational priorities.
- Facilitate project planning sessions with internal stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and performance goals.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones; monitor progress and ensure projects are delivered within agreed timelines and budgets.
- Manage project scope, schedule, and resources using recommended project management tools and methodologies.
- Identify, track, and resolve project risks and issues; collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement effective solutions.
- Monitor and communicate project status, risks, and performance metrics to project sponsors and key stakeholders.
- Support the transition of global finance processes including Pay Process, Grant of Authority, Invoice Dispute Resolution, Order to Cash, Fixed Assets, and General Ledger.
- Identify and analyze process gaps and drive standardization and simplification initiatives within the Global Capability Center (GCC).
- Ensure adherence to KPIs and SLAs in a shared services or captive services environment.
- Supervise and guide finance teams, providing coaching, development feedback, and performance oversight.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable activities, ensuring accurate records and timely payments or collections.
- Conduct vendor and stakeholder reviews and prepare monthly performance reports.
- Act as an escalation point for complex or non-routine accounting issues.
- Recommend and implement improvements to finance processes, procedures, and operational methods to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Maintain project documentation, records, and databases, and share best practices and lessons learned across teams.

Experience
- 9+ years of relevant experience in finance operations and project management.
- Proven experience in transitioning global finance processes and managing cross-functional finance initiatives.
- Experience working in a shared services or captive services environment , ensuring adherence to KPIs and SLAs.
- Hands-on experience across finance functions such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, General Ledger, and Order to Cash .
- Basic understanding of indirect taxation and working with multi-currency invoices .
- Experience conducting vendor partner interactions, stakeholder reviews, and performance reporting .
- Exposure to global operations and cross-regional collaboration is an advantage.
QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
- Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, Chartered Accountant (CA), or equivalent required.
