DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Field Service Power Generation Technician / Mechanic to join our Distribution Business in Memphis, TN.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Completing repair activities on generators or components
- Engaging with customers in a courteous and professional manner
- Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools
- Maintain detailed records of service
- Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies
- Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products
- Maintain own tools
RESPONSIBILITIES
In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities.
- High Voltage / Low Voltage experience.
- Capable of electrical repair and maintenance with minimal supervision – hands on exposure to working on power generation products.
(Entry):
- Primarily engaged in preventative maintenance or basic repairs/diagnostics on generators.
- Basic Diesel Engine experience.
- Requires direct supervision and review of workmanship quality.
Compensation and Benefits Base salary rate commensurate with experience. QUALIFICATIONS
This position will require a Med-Card and we will also be required to complete a DMV driving report. CANDIDATE MUST BE 21 YEARS OLD.
A current valid license is required for this role.
This role requires a 5-year motor vehicle report, free from major violations.
This role requires applicant to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical.
3 years driving experience.This role is subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) driving regulations including Hours of Service and Electronic Log Booking Device use.
Federal law requires a CDL holder to be 21 years of age or older, applicant must be 21 years of age.
