Job Details

We’re seeking someone to join our team as an Agile Delivery Lead to act as a force multiplier for fleet execution and ensure delivery remains aligned to fleet priorities by improving transparency into progress and impediments and driving consistent ways of working across squads.

Operating primarily at the fleet level, the Agile Delivery Lead Master focuses on cross squad execution, operating model consistency, and delivery governance. While the role is not responsible for running all squad ceremonies, it participates in selected cross squad and squad level ceremonies where needed—including supporting squads in operating against a single, well aligned backlog—to reinforce delivery discipline, manage dependencies, and ensure Jira consistency and reliable delivery transparency at scale.

Working closely with the Fleet Enablement Lead, the Agile Delivery Lead operates and governs the cross squad operating model and actively drives its execution, intervening where coordination or execution needs reinforcement—enabling squads to deliver sustainably and autonomously as part of a cohesive fleet.

In the Technology division, we leverage innovation to build the connections and capabilities that power our Firm, enabling our clients and colleagues to redefine markets and shape the future of our communities. This is a Lead Infrastructure Production Management & Reliability Engineering position at Vice President level, which is part of the job family responsible for maintaining the stability and reliability of the organization's infrastructure systems and ensuring optimal performance and availability to support business operations.

Since 1935, Morgan Stanley is known as a global leader in financial services, always evolving and innovating to better serve our clients and our communities in more than 40 countries around the world.

Interested in joining a team that’s eager to create, innovate and make an impact on the world? Read on…

What you’ll do in the role:

  • Serve as a proxy/extension of the FEL to help maintain momentum across fleet priorities and key initiatives, ensuring delivery aligns to fleet goals and that squads operate consistently

  • Partner with Product Owners to help shape and maintain fleet roadmaps built from squad level plans, and support alignment to fleet objectives and OKR

  • Actively identify and drive resolution of cross‑squad delivery risks, dependencies, and execution breakdowns, intervening directly where alignment or delivery discipline needs reinforcement

  • Drive squad delivery by managing interdependencies, coordinating “bearhugs/handshakes” across the fleet and with external partner teams, and escalating/closing blockers.

  • Maintain and communicate delivery metrics and status reporting (e.g., velocity/burndown, risks/issues/blockers) to fleet leadership and senior stakeholders.

  • Define “standard work” across squads (common ceremonies, dependency workflows, intake/triage patterns, definition-of-ready/done guardrails, and reporting rhythms).

  • Identify, experiment with, and operationalize the use of AI‑enabled tools and techniques to improve delivery efficiency, transparency, and decision‑making

  • Serve as an Agile coach across squads, actively coaching teams and Product Owners on effective Agile practices, backlog management, and continuous improvement, and intervening when ways of working or delivery discipline need reinforcement.

  • Reinforce delivery governance and standards while respecting Product Owner accountability and squad autonomy

  • Own and drive adoption of Jira standards and best practices across squads to improve execution consistency, transparency, and reporting quality.

  • Ensure Jira data quality issues are resolved—not necessarily by doing all corrections, but by establishing accountability and follow-through

  • Leverage metrics (burndown/velocity and other execution signals) to identify improvement opportunities and support fleet-level reporting needs

  • Foster a collaborative, high‑trust culture across squads and promote recognition of delivery success at the fleet level

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • At least 6 years of proven experience as an agile delivery leader (e.g., Senior Scrum Master, Service Delivery Manager, Program/Project Manager)

  • Deep, practical experience using Jira to run delivery - not just configure it.

  • Experience driving standards and improving data quality across multiple teams

  • Strong track record of driving execution through influence, resolving dependencies, and maintaining delivery discipline at scale.

  • Excellent stakeholder communication and organizational skills; able to maintain delivery transparency and facilitate effective ceremonies.

  • Experience working with or knowledge of Microsoft Cloud Products – in particular Microsoft Power Platform or Dynamics 365 would be ideal.

Nice to have:

  • Experience establishing governance/standard work across multiple squads

  • Knowledge of Confluence

  • Knowledge of Power BI

  • Prior use of Copilot Studio, Power Platform or Dynamics 365

  • Agile Certification (CSM, PSM, and/or SAFE-5)

  • Microsoft Power Platform or Dynamics 365 Certification

  • Financial Services and transformation experience
