AptDeco is seeking a Customer Care Associate to ensure customers have an extraordinary and seamless experience every time they buy or sell furniture. As a member of the Customer Support Team, you will represent AptDeco and be the voice of the brand, thriving in a fast-paced environment and finding creative solutions to problems.
Responsibilities will include:
- Support users with fast, efficient service and inspire a growing user base to share the AptDeco experience
- Respond to emails and resolve user issues promptly, turning upset users into passionate evangelists
- Coordinate logistics between buyers and sellers
- Provide feedback to Engineering and Operations Teams to streamline processes and support business growth
- Identify new ways to introduce the AptDeco experience to new users
- Take on other ad hoc projects as needed throughout the year

- Have strong organizational, analytic, written, and verbal communication skills
- Have experience in customer service or technical support and a strong desire to help people
- Possess excellent time management skills and self-motivation, following through on tasks without getting overwhelmed
- Have creative problem-solving experience and remain solutions-oriented when faced with challenges
- Are familiar with G Suite apps
- Have previous startup experience (a plus)
- Are flexible to work on weekends
Total Compensation
The base pay range for this role is $20 – $24 per hour.
