Position Title: Client Identity & Access Management (CIAM) Product Owner
Position Description:
This position is on the Identity & Access Management team in the Cyber Data Risk & Resilience (CDRR) Organization. The CIAM Product Owner is responsible for defining business goals and priority for Morgan Stanley’s firmwide Client Identity & Access Management Repository (CIAM) product. The CIAM platform manages the Firm’s external client authentication an authorization platform.
Job Responsibilities:
The CIAM Product Owner (PO) will partner with the Fleet Technical Area Lead to define and execute on the CIAM strategy, vision, & business goals.
· Collaborate with business partners, stakeholders, and other IAM Product Owners to identify, define, and prioritize features to meet the needs of CIAM customers.
· Prioritize and manage our rolling quarterly CIAM road map.
· Work with CIAM operations to troubleshoot issues and meet compliance requirements with our legacy systems.
· Communicate and prioritize stakeholder requirements through Agile Jira Epics, user stories and manage product backlog.
· Facilitate Agile ceremonies with the CIAM squad(s) to refine and expand upon user stories.
· Review new proposals to ensure the business requirements are in line with the CIAM strategy and goals.
· Ensure and validate that delivered functionality meets the business objectives.
· Prepare and deliver presentations for business units as well as senior management within the Identity and Access Management organization.
· Define and manage monthly Key Risk and Productivity Indicator (KRI & KPI) metrics.
· Responsible for summarizing monthly accomplishments for executive reports.
Applicant Qualifications:
· Highly motivated, self-directed and possess solid execution skills.
· Experience as a Produce Owner for products
· Great knowledge of agile methodology and tools including Kanban boards.
· Demonstrates critical thought and probes beyond the surface of the requested data to get valuable (actionable) information.
· Able to understand complex concepts quickly.
· Detail oriented but understands broader impacts of requests.
· Adjust quickly to changing priorities as necessary.
· Manages multiple tasks and deliverables simultaneously and in an organized and results-oriented manner.
· Proactively identifies opportunities for process improvement that positively impact the bottom line.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Possesses a strong analytical, quantitative and objective outlook.
· Excellent people skills are also necessary since this position interacts with all levels of resources across the organization.
· Great knowledge of Microsoft suites specially advanced features in Excel.
Requirements for this position:
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
· Experience with Identity and Access Management
· 8+ years professional experience required
· Experience with Agile Development Methodology
· Prior IT development experience is a plus and strong knowledge of JIRA.
· Experience with MS Office applications, specially advanced knowledge of Excel
· Knowledge of the banking/financial services industry is a plus

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $150,000 and $210,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
