We're seeking someone to join our team as an Associate on the Central Data Team in Operations Risk & Regulatory Control (ORRC)’s Central Data Team to support execution of the Operations Data Strategy across North America. Working under the direction of the Director and Regional Strategy Lead (VP), you will help translate strategy into execution—establishing governance routines, improving data quality and lineage, and enabling automation and AI. You will develop foundational skills in data management and controls while helping teams move from tactical files to certified, well‑controlled data sources.

In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships. This is a Professional position at the Associate level within Change, Analytics & Strategy, which is responsible for developing operating and technology strategies, managing, and executing transformation initiatives, leading Agile fleet activities, driving innovation, developing analytics solutions and delivering business outcomes.

What you'll do:

  • Assist in implementing governance frameworks and control routines aligned to firmwide standards.

  • Support the Opportunities Backlog by documenting requirements, value hypotheses, status, and risks.

  • Contribute to data quality and lineage activities; help monitor KPIs and prepare stakeholder reporting.

  • Partner with Silo Data Leads and RTech on assigned deliverables; reuse patterns and templates to accelerate execution.

  • Participate in training and tool adoption (DataZone, Collibra, MS Maps, Snowflake); promote data literacy within teams.

  • Intermediate: Risk Management & Control; Business Knowledge & Expertise; Communication.

  • Foundational to Intermediate: Analysis, Collaboration, Adaptability.

What you bring:

  • Basic understanding of data governance and operational risk principles.

  • Interest in data management, analytics, and transformation initiatives.

  • Familiarity with data tools and platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Collibra) is a plus.

  • Clear communication, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.

  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage tasks to deadline.

  • 0–2+ years in data management, governance, analytics, or related operational roles (or equivalent internship experience).

Salary range for the position: $51,000 and $83,000 per year. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
