 We’re seeking for a senior developer, Client Onboarding and Regulatory Platform, you'll be involved in detailed technical design, development and implementation of applications using emerging technology choices.

InstitutionalSecurities_Technology

Institutional Securities Technology (IST) develops and oversees the overall technology strategy and bespoke technology solutions to drive and enable the institutional businesses and enterprise-wide functions. IST’s ‘clients’ include Fixed Income, Equities, Commodities, Investment Banking, Research, Prime Brokerage and Global Capital Markets. 

Prime Brokerage Tech

Operations Technology is responsible for building and operating the technology platform catering to critical business processes at Morgan Stanley including Settlements, Confirmations, Regulatory Reporting, Position Keeping, Corporate Actions processing and other post-trade functions. The Firm operates at scale with up to 60 million trades processed on peak volume days and several trillion dollars of daily settlements with activity ongoing in multiple countries and currencies across the globe. There is a great breadth of financial products that our Operations plant handles across equity and fixed income, from cash products to complex derivatives and loans. 

Software Engineering

This is a senior developer position for Onboarding and Regulatory platform. You are required to be a technologist with solid command on distributed development tools and tech-stack - primarily Java and Java based web-development, angular, databases, frameworks for enterprise system development, enterprise integration patterns, cloud focused architecture and tools.

What you’ll do in the role:

· Working with business users to understand requirements, analyze them in detail and write clear specs and convert them into prototype, technical design
· Implementing UI solutions in reporting space
· Enhancing existing solutions to meet new requirements
· Providing L3 production support

What you’ll bring to the role:

At least 4 years of hand-on experience needed for role related and Domain knowledge
· JavaScript/TypeScript: Proficiency in JavaScript and optionally TypeScript
· React: Strong understanding of React library, including hooks, state management, and component lifecycle.
· HTML/CSS: Knowledge of HTML and CSS for structuring and styling the UI.
· Testing: Knowledge of testing frameworks like Jest
· Build Tools: Understanding of build tools like Webpack
· RESTful APIs: Ability to integrate with RESTful APIs for Fetching and submitting the data
· Responsive Design: Skills in creating responsive and adaptive UI designs
· Full Stack Experience: Ability to contribute on the backend service layer in addition to the UI development (Optional)
· Analytical, debugging and problem-solving skills
· Team player; highly motivated; excellent communication skills
