General Information:

The Associate Project Manager / Project Specialist leads the execution of small to medium-size projects and ensure that all related activities are performed in accordance with Hitachi Energy policy, contractual agreements, quality standards, health, safety & environment requirements, financial targets, as well as schedule commitments.
Your responsibilities:
You will define jointly with the Project Controls department, all project plan documents, including scope and financial plans, schedule and risk management plans.
You will ensure that the project follows execution best practices and Hitachi Energy policies, effectively monitor and control project progress and efficient resource utilization, monitor and control project financials, oversee project invoicing status, cost, expense and cash flow.
You will identify, qualify, quantify and manage risk, and ensure that all opportunities are identified and pursued, capture, analyze and share lessons learned throughout the project, ensure that the project is formally closed out, as contractually agreed, drive the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out and its acknowledgement by the customer.
You will ensure that the project consistently apply contract and claim management, in accordance with Hitachi Energy policies and contractual agreements, coordinate with Supply Chain management, and successfully procure required services, materials and equipment for the project from external and internal suppliers.
You will support Supply Chain Management in negotiation, claim and project change.
You will act as key contact for the customer and an escalation point for project issues, build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicate with all stakeholders.
You will ensure the project follows and comply with company health, safety, and environmental policies.

Your background:
Diploma and bachelor’s in electrical engineering experience in Electrical/Transmission Industry.
Minimum 5 years project management experience in Power sectors.
Leadership skill to lead project team and managing customer expectation.
Preferably with PMP qualification.
Good knowledge of substations equipment, protection relays and network automation.
Experience in switchgear planning, design and bidding related tasks.
Knowledge of MS Office, SAP and Microsoft Projects/P6.
Proficiency in English communication.
