- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in compliance, risk management, investigation, auditing, legal, or consulting.
Preferred qualifications:
- Understanding of human rights, supplier responsibility, and responsible minerals regulations and best practices, with experience in publishing related reports.
- Ability to motivate and work with diverse teams, influencing executive leadership, and collaborating effectively across different departments.
- Ability to manage complex programs with multiple stakeholders and publishing regulatory reports requiring cross-functional teamwork.
- Ability to adapt and grow in a constantly evolving environment and deliver high-quality work with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to use data to improve processes and operations.
- Excellent program management, leadership, and communication skills, with the ability to drive change and influence others without direct authority.
The Supplier Responsibility Program works to ensure Alphabet’s suppliers treat the people in their workforce with dignity and respect, maintain safe and healthy workplaces, and conduct business ethically in accordance with our Supplier Code of Conduct and relevant laws and regulations. To that end, the supplier responsibility team provides oversight and governance for the ecosystem of product area programs responsible for operationalizing supplier responsibility frameworks, risk assessments, and audit protocols within their supply chains. As part of these efforts, the Supplier Responsibility team coordinates closely with various stakeholders to publish Google’s annual supplier responsibility and conflict minerals reports. As the Responsible Minerals and Human Rights Compliance Regulatory Reporting Lead, you will play a critical role in advancing our Responsible Minerals Program strategy, executing key initiatives across Alphabet and Google, and managing conflict minerals, anti-modern slavery, and human rights compliance and regulatory reporting obligations. You will work with a cross-functional set of stakeholders across Alphabet, including teams embedded in product areas responsible for operationalizing supplier responsibility and responsible minerals program efforts. You have a multidisciplinary skillset, robust program and project management experience, great business acumen, and a passion for ethics and integrity.
- Lead responsible minerals program, coordinating with various teams.
- Manage annual scoping for conflict minerals regulations and publish reports.
- Manage scoping for anti-modern slavery/human rights laws and publish disclosures.
- Conduct risk reviews and lead processes for the responsible minerals program.
- Align program requirements and work with teams for compliance and improvement.
