DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented onsite Project Assistant in Atlanta, GA

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Under supervision of Project Manager, provide support on projects and work assignments by managing schedules and resources to complete tasks, developing basic knowledge of effective project management and general business understanding.
  • Provides administrative and logistics support for a project team and project manager by maintaining project updates, notes, databases and other records.
  • Assists with budget planning and tracking, research, and analytical support; provides administrative support for the design and development of project plans and timelines.
  • Assists in identifying, tracking, and working with others to resolve project issues while developing skills to do this independently. Assists with managing project risk, developing how to use quality tools to identify areas of risk.

Assists a project manager in applying process and project management skills within an area of business or technical specialty. Supports the management of small portions of well-defined projects. Provides administrative and logistics support for a project team and project manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Serves as a support resource on projects and work assignments. Assists in identifying, tracking, and working with others to resolve project issues. Helps monitor and communicate project status to project team. Assists with budget planning and tracking, research, and analytical support; provides administrative support for the design and development of project plans and timelines. Assists with managing project risk; completes administrative work in the use of quality tools to identify areas of risk. Supports documenting and sharing team learnings with other teams. Maintains project notes, databases, and other records; monitors measures and communicates with Project Manager on status of specific projects and assignments.

Project Resource Management - Develops resource (expense and headcount) plans using recommended project management tools and processes to manage resources effectively.

Project Schedule Management - Manages the planned schedule using the recommended schedule management tools and processes to drive completion within the agreed timeline.

Project Scope Management - Manages a list of project deliverables (scope) using the recommended project management tools and processes to ensure that the project includes all the work required and only the work required to complete the project successfully.

Adapts to target audience - Explains complex topics (significant technical data, subject matter expertise, etc.) in such a way that the target audience (e.g. sales professionals, customers, training vendors, etc.) can understand, retain, and use the information

Integrates Customer Perspective - Incorporates an understanding of the customers' perspective on our products and sales efforts to develop sales content that improves our ability to meet their needs and increase revenue.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

College or equivalent degree preferred.

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

Requires some work experience and intermediate level knowledge obtained through training or on-the-job experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

The Project Coordinator supports the planning, execution, organization, delivery, and invoicing of government whole goods, PGRP initiatives, and major projects. This role ensures compliance with procurement requirements, maintains projects coordination and documentation, and facilitates communication across internal teams, and vendors. The coordinator plays a key role in keeping projects on schedule, within scope, projected prime margin, and aligned with regulatory and contractual obligations.
