The role
CLS helps clients navigate the changing FX marketplace – reducing risk and creating efficiencies. Our innovative, forward-looking products make the trading process faster, easier, safer and more cost-effective – empowering our clients’ success.
CLS is seeking an onboarding manager to support the analysis, reconciliation, and maintenance of client data for various products across data and processing businesses. The resource will be responsible for leading the validation of client data against CLS’s data stores, reconciling discrepancies, escalating issues, and engaging with external parties to resolve discrepancies. The resource will also be collaborating with Business, Finance, IT, Compliance, Legal and other teams. Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills are a must.
Essential Functions
Strategic
- Collaboration with Sales, Product Managers, Compliance, Legal and other teams across the organization
- Identify enhancements with data administration process with the intention of 1) reducing potential for data discrepancies impacting clients and 2) streamlining the data administration process
- Manage procedure attestation for CLSTradeMonitor including MyFunds, CLSMarketData and Reports
- Create and maintain MI reporting for CLSTradeMonitor including MyFunds, CLSMarketData and Reports
- Act in maker / checker (input/approver) process in CLSDirect for relevant CLS Products, this includes but is not limited to funds onboarding and amendments
- Daily reconciliation of static data provided by clients which need to be accurately approved in a timely manner
Operational
- Onboarding of participants to CLS Data and Processing Products, including access set-up via the CLS GUI or API service
- Analyse data collected from clients and third-party sources to isolate and resolve discrepancies where necessary, as well as field questions
- Work with Sales, Legal, Compliance, Finance and Product Management, ETL, Application Support, and IT Admin in accordance with the “Client Data Administration Process” to support the data maintenance for the suite of products on the CLS Direct platform
- Set-up Static Data for CLSDirect products and maintain client contact details
Leadership
- Provide subject matter expertise across new initiative
- Proactively develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with stakeholders at all levels
Essential / Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Working knowledge of SQL, advanced Microsoft Office applications and Data Visualisation tools (e.g. Microstrategy, Power BI) will be advantageous
- FX/Banking/Financial knowledge
- Experience in data analysis and buy-side or post trade experience will be beneficial
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Exposure to payments, correspondent banking, FX, equity or derivatives business
- Ability to manage a project and identify areas of improvement
- Ability to provide flexible support during busy times of the year
- Must be a strong team player who can share knowledge and help others succeed
