DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented onsite Operations Administrator to join our team in Bolingbrook, IL.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Under direct or close supervision, enter data into a database or other computerized system to maintain up-to-date stock/inventory and training records.
  • These activities may include responding to customer escalations, order allocation, part profile & inventory records; preparing reports, training operators, customs compliance processes, domestic and international transportation related procedures and completing forms (receipt, transfer, delivery, dispatch, etc.)
  • Operates manual and automated equipment to pick, pack and ship product per the customer expectations.
  • Utilize SAP to create inbound deliveries and help manage all inbound and outbound deliveries in a timely manner.
  • Evaluates and selects appropriate transportation mode and equipment type by lane through shipment volume analysis against business requirements to provide optimal shipping method.
  • Perform other routine administrative activities according to the Organizations established procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Requires minimal work experience, logistics or warehouse experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, generating reports and advanced level computer skills, SAP experience preferred

Education, Licenses, Certifications

  • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
  • This position does not require any Department of Transportation (DOT) related pre-screenings.

Compensation and Benefits: Base salary rate commensurate with experience. QUALIFICATIONS

This on-site Chicago RDC Operations Administration (Dealer Returns) role will have responsibility for:

  • This position is 100% on site M-F 8AM to 5PM CST at the Chicago Regional Distribution Center located at 351 Internationale Drive Bolingbrook, IL 60440. Relocation will be requested if required for the selected candidate
  • Processing dealer returns for the Chicago region and managing the flow of returned products to sellable inventory or quality related disposition.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate completion of returns to meet dealer, customer and RDC expectations.
  • Assisting with core return preparation/documentation to the Reverse Logistics Core Center.
  • Partnering with3PL warehouse team to ensure organizational/5S and FIFO practices are adopted and sustained in the designated work area(s).
  • Assisting with Allied product inventory and order management
  • Reporting required metrics at designated intervals, identifying process improvement opportunities and addressing them properly with stakeholders.
  • Managing relationship with key stakeholders; including internal leadership, operations partners, Cummins Sales and Service branches and Dealers to ensure standardization of process flows and effective communication.
  • Knowledge of GOMS and/or BMS transactional processes is preferred but not required.
