DESCRIPTION
Job Summary:
The Finance Analyst is responsible for preparing financial analyses and reports to support department managers and business leaders. This role plays a key part in monthly and annual financial closures, variance analysis, audit coordination, and compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations. The analyst also supports process improvements and collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare monthly closing reports including Chart of Accounts (COA) submissions and Profit & Loss statements.
- Generate monthly MIS reports and conduct variance analysis.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Support quarterly board meeting submissions, schedules, and reporting packs.
- Accounting & Compliance:
- Oversee annual closure of books and coordinate with auditors for statutory, internal, and tax audits.
- Monitor and review daily accounting transactions to ensure completeness and correctness.
- Support indirect tax compliance, primarily GST-related activities.
- Business Partnering & Support:
- Collaborate with business units to understand new requirements and drive improvements.
- Assist in development and implementation of process enhancements.
- Provide financial insights to support decision-making and operational efficiency.
- Special Projects:
- Execute ad hoc financial projects and analysis as assigned.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across finance and operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Licensing: May require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Qualified Chartered Accountant with 0–2 years of post-qualification experience.
Additional Requirement: Must be open to travel to plant locations (around 20% of the time).
