Job Description

The Global Organizational Leadership Development (GOLD) Program is Avery Dennison’s fast-track leadership platform designed to cultivate our future leaders. We are currently recruiting highly ambitious graduates to join this program. The GOLD journey develops an associate’s knowledge and skills through practical, technical, and managerial training, typically involving multiple high-impact projects across various functions and geographic regions. The program is specifically designed to provide challenging and meaningful work experience across critical functions within Human Resources and Administration, which includes:

  • Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding
  • Compensation, Benefits & HR Analytics
  • Learning & Organization Development (L&OD)
  • Employee Relations, Engagement & Culture
  • HR Operations & HRIS Management
  • Compliance
  • Administration & Facilities Management

Your Possible Roles:

This is a dynamic program featuring multiple challenging rotations across different HR and Administration functions and potentially different locations. Specific tasks that you will get an opportunity to work on throughout your tenure includes:

  • Lead the full-cycle recruitment process for assigned roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation.
  • Develop and execute local employer branding initiatives and manage strategic university relations to position Avery Dennison as an employer of choice in Bangladesh.
  • Support the annual performance review and compensation planning cycles by conducting robust data analysis and preparing review reports.
  • Assist in the meticulous administration of employee benefits (e.g., insurance, leave management) and ensure 100% compliance with local labor laws in Bangladesh.
  • Focus on maintaining HR Information System (HRIS) data integrity, reporting accuracy, and generating actionable organizational insights.
  • Design, organize, and deliver essential training sessions (e.g., onboarding, professional skills) and manage the local training calendar.
  • Lead internal communication campaigns and cultural initiatives to enhance employee morale, engagement, and alignment with Avery Dennison values.
  • Manage the execution of the local Performance Management process, ensuring timely goal setting and effective feedback sessions.
  • Oversee critical HR operational processes, including comprehensive employee record maintenance (on-boarding, transfers, off-boarding).
  • Introduce local HR policies as applicable with adherence to labor laws.
  • Ensure the facility operates efficiently by managing vendor contracts and overseeing facilities maintenance.
  • Handle complex employee relations matters with guidance from senior HR leaders and ensure all disciplinary actions are fair and legally compliant.

...and other tasks according to the evolving business needs related to HR and Admin.


Qualifications

Education:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in degree with a major in Human Resources Management, or a related discipline, with a satisfactory GPA of 3.00 and above.

Experience: 

  • Recent graduates (within the last 6 months) and those completing their degree by this December are encouraged to apply.
  • Internship experience in a global company is highly preferred.

Preferred Skills:

  • Highly motivated, creative thinker & able to thrive in a fast-paced, change-driven environment.
  • Strong English and Bengali proficiency in both oral and writing is required.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in university clubs, or extra-curricular activities; overseas study or exposure is a plus.
  • Effectively communicates and influences stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Comfortable juggling multiple high-priority projects; sets and achieves challenging personal and project goals; and works independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Demonstrates flexibility and willingness to travel frequently (both locally and regionally) to support business projects and rotations.
