Job Description

About the Role:

This role is to drive the development and /or management exercise for product platforms primarily for ETF.  To a lesser extent, the role may also be required to support the retail, pension/MPF, and /or institutional product ranges.   

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Lead project management efforts for product launches, changes, and other product management exercise (including planning, coordination between stakeholders [1], hosting working group meetings, reviewing and providing comments on notices and changes in offering/constitutive documents, approving offering materials for printing and any post-launch services) to ensure timely completion of the product management exercise (corporate actions) or documentation updates across the global and local product ranges.
  • Lead fund registration and listing (cross-listing) exercise with regulators or exchanges in various jurisdictions across APAC and where relevant.
  • Ensure the right version of the offering documents are printed and delivered to relevant stakeholders or users which includes: Formatting / proofreading / checking and liaising with printers the ready-to-go documents; Facilitate discussion between sales support team and printer on delivery. 
  • Acting as AP’s information hub for product management/corporate action activities for XB products (including ETFs) and disseminate information, updated documents, product related changes/information/corporate actions to relevant stakeholders (such as Product Team or Distribution Teams in other locations) on the following: Working with Product Development Team or independently to prepare materials to facilitate product launch / change / maintenance seeking approval from product committees; Prepare meeting minutes. 
  • Maintain proper records of product changes and corporate actions, and product/platform management over the life of each product.
  • Liaise with MOPS Team in Hyderabad (looping in Product Marketing Team) on posting documents onto Invesco’s websites (including regular reports such as annual/semi-annual/quarterly reports, prospectus updates, notices and KFSes etc.)
  • Observe any internal policies and controls during the product management process
  • Lead or assist in product related projects / tasks assigned from time to time.
 

[1]Including but not limited to XB team (covering traditional products, ETFs, private markets products), investment, marketing, sales, compliance, legal, risk management, finance, operations, and technology staff, etc.  For ETF, this may also include external parties such, index provider coordination, liquidity providers / market makers, or participating dealers / authorized participants.

Requirement for the Role:

  • University degree major in Economics, Business or Finance
  • CFA charter holder or CFA candidate will be a plus
  • Preferably 5-10 years of experience in product development or management in ETF / mutual fund / compliance or operations / wealth management products, working knowledge across the spectrum of SFC / MPFA / HKEx / MAS and private placement funds is a plus;
  • Understanding of the asset management or ETF business, regulations (in particular SFC Unit Trust Code, UCITS directives and /or MPF regulations) and HKEx Listing rules;
  • With excellent communication and writing skills (in English and Chinese) and high proficiency in using MS office.
  • A team player with good interpersonal skills, eager to learn attitude and project management skills.
  • Able to multi-task and work under tight deadlines.
