Job Description Summary
This position is primarily responsible for identifying new product opportunities, designing product structures, and guiding proposals through implementation across wrappers and asset classes (public and private markets) in Australia. The incumbent would also be responsible for maintaining the existing funds on the platform.
Product Development
Lead and support new product development (public and private markets) from concept through implementation in close collaboration with regional product, distribution, and investment teams.
Vet commercial viability of product proposals, which may include analyzing market landscape/ competitor product shelves, conducting demand assessments, and reviewing product P&L.
Support go-to-market plans for new launches with distribution and investment teams
Prepare requisite product proposals for business and operational approval in line with Invesco’s product governance process
Serve as the center of knowledge for internal stakeholders to support feasibility assessments on solutions for clients
Platform Management
Manage end-to-end lifecycle of a diverse product suite, ensuring competitiveness and alignment with business goals.
Conduct full operational assessment of new capabilities to support the product development process
Lead project management of fund launches and repositioning to ensure efficient implementation
Provide ongoing oversight of product platform to ensure operational integrity
Owner of ongoing product maintenance responsibilities, such as offer documents and TMD updates
Provide updates to Product MIS and relevant databases
Formal Education
A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification is preferred
CFA charter holder preferred
Work Experience / Knowledge
Experience working in asset management, specifically in product development and/or management
Knowledge of Australian managed investment scheme rules and regulation, as if pertains to fund launch process and documentation maintenance
Knowledge of global funds structures across public and private markets
Proficient user of asset management market intelligence databases, such as Morningstar, Broadridge, eVestment, Preqin
Demonstratable experience of managing multi-discipline projects
Excellent stakeholder management skills
Proficient user of the Microsoft suite of products

Excellent written communication skills
Strong verbal communication skills, including presentation skills
Able to influence and build relationships at all levels internally and externally
Experience with negotiation, influencing and conflict management
Commercially astute
Creative problem solver - able to challenge and propose solutions which challenge the status quo
