We are looking for an enthusiastic IT Business Analyst to join our team specializing in Systems and IT for our Cummins Emission Solutions in Huddersfield, UK. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential! This role is available to candidates who qualify for a placement year and will commence Summer 2026.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Analysis of business problems, using business analysis tools and techniques whilst driving business process improvement initiatives.
• Identifying, designing, evaluating, and building IT solutions to meet the needs of our business stakeholders.
• Leading project initiatives from inception to completion at varying stages of their product lifecycle.
• Maintaining existing IT systems and understanding their interaction with business process.
• Helping deploy new IT systems, including testing support and end user training.
• Operational support and business / IT compliance and internal controls reporting

QUALIFICATIONS

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

• IT, Computing, Business and STEM related University Degree with a keen interest in using technology to solve business problems.
• Ability to quickly absorb and learn new technologies as the rate of advancement in technology continues to push boundaries.
• Must be a team player, with the ability to manage their own workload and balance multiple tasks / projects at one time.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to express complex concepts in simple terms.
• Basic knowledge of SQL or other type of software development experience is considered a plus.
