DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Quality Technician – Level III to join our team specializing in Quality at our facility in Bloomfield, CT, US.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

 You’ll be the go-to support for engineers , keeping production and inspection work moving smoothly and accurately with minimal supervision.

 You’ll protect product quality at the source by monitoring materials in processing plants and making timely adjustments before issues escalate.

 You’ll catch defects early by comparing physical characteristics of materials, components, and products against technical specifications.

 You’ll turn test data into insight , conducting functional, reliability, and packaging tests and translating results into clear technical reports.

 You’ll raise confidence in results by maintaining precise documentation, records, and traceability across inspections and tests.

 You’ll maximize equipment performance , programming, operating, maintaining, and calibrating a wide range of measurement and test tools.

 You’ll empower customers and internal teams by clearly explaining product specifications and how to interpret measurement data in real applications.

 You’ll strengthen measurement credibility by contributing to uncertainty studies, ensuring results are reliable, repeatable, and audit-ready.

RESPONSIBILITIES

To be successful, you will need to consistently demonstrate the following:

 Bring urgency and ownership every day — step into new challenges fast, take initiative without waiting for direction, and keep momentum high even when priorities shift.

 Work as a true partner, not a silo — collaborate closely with engineers, operators, quality teams, and customers to solve problems and hit shared goals.

 Tailor your communication to your audience — explain technical data clearly to engineers, simplify results for non-technical stakeholders, and document findings so they’re easy to act on.

 Make confident, timely decisions — use data, experience, and sound judgment to move work forward without over-analyzing or delaying progress.

 Apply measurement science with precision — understand traceability, uncertainty, and metrology principles across relevant disciplines to ensure measurement results are accurate and defensible.

 Use quality tools as problem-solvers, not checkboxes — apply APQP, FMEA, SPC, capability studies, inspections, and audits to prevent defects and improve processes.

 Balance technical excellence with lab discipline — manage equipment, methods, and resources while ensuring compliance with certifications, accreditations, and quality systems.

 Think both technically and commercially — control costs, optimize lab performance, and align measurement and quality decisions with business objectives.
