Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Oversees the monthly Loss Forecasting aspects of the group.
- Liaises with the Finance, Collections & Risk Policy team with respect to Loss Forecasting.
- Oversees analysis of Forecasting in Citi Corp with respect to Forbearance performance and reporting, and Recoveries performance and reporting.
- Analyzes fraud portfolio performance at a granular level.
- Develops detailed diagnostics on Fraud behavior, shifts in that behavior, assess its impact on portfolio performance, and support the forecasting process.
- Assists in the production all presentations to the Citigroup CFO, Citi Cards CEO, Citi Cards Risk Head, Global Consumer Credit Risk Officer & Regulators, as well as various ad hoc requests.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- 5-8 years previous experience in Forecasting / Fraud / Risk Management
- Advanced quantitative and analytic skills required.
- Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed. Other job-related duties may be assigned as required. · Review and complete CEP Credit Approval Memo packages · Review and complete enhanced CEP transaction Credit Approval Memo packages including complex deal structures with tight delivery deadlines · Be familiar and posses in depth understanding of market products, credit structures, syndicated exposures, alternative financing etc. · Identify and properly assess forborne exposures, remote bookings or Irish CCR reporting · Posses strong and in-depth knowledge of CEP and WCR credit policies including loan and product documentation, exposure overviews, business and industry descriptions etc. · Analyze and assess risks in the credit relationships and formulate respective recommendations for CEP Credit risk management approval · Work closely with Credit Officers, Relationship/Product Managers and Traders/Salespeople to facilitate transaction approvals. · Provide credit input to standardize credit-related documents and reporting for the CEP portfolio. · Provide ad hoc project support to regional and global Risk management projects including but not limited to: lead special projects as required by the business, participate on remediation projects, participate on portfolio transitions from other booking units to CEP etc. · Participate on reporting and control functions within the CEP unit · Ensure CEP Credit Risk MCA and Controls are effective. · As this is a senior role you must be a mentor to more junior colleagues
