We are looking for a talented Site Customer Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team specializing in QUALITY for our CUMMINS in Saltillo, Coahuila, at Stellantis Truck Assembly Plant. (100% On site role)
Job Summary:
At assigned site, advocates for internal and external customers to support resolution and prevention of product quality and process quality related issues.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Facilitate or participate in developing understanding of customer expectations and requirements for site quality.
- Use customer-centric metrics to prioritize quality issues and requirements.
- Act as a contact at the customer site level.
- Manage systems related to plant customer issues such as corrective action requests and nonconforming material reports.
- Lead containment activities and support continuous quality improvement activities.
- Ensure product and process development meets quality standards and customer-specific requirements.
- Support problem identification, prioritization of measures, and leading Six Sigma or continuous improvement projects.
- Support or lead change management activities, quality audits and be a quality technical resource for other functional areas.
- Support process update to Quality 4.0 principles and secure launch initiatives through Value Pack Introduction (VPI).
- Apply automotive industry action group (AIAG) tools in less complex situations.

Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Mecanichs, Industrial, Mechatronics Engineering or related to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics)
Experience
1-3 years of automotive turning experience (Quality)Main Areas of Interaction: Quality, Materials, and Engineering.
QUALIFICATIONS
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Automotive, Electronic, Engine and Exhaust parts and system basic knowledge preferred
- Electronics Knowledge (Desirable)
- English – Advanced (Written and Oral)
- Job location in Saltillo Coahuila at Stellantis Truck Assembly Plant
