DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Marketing Communications Coordinator to join our team specializing in Communications for our Cummins Inc. facility in Indianapolis, IN.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Drive Campaign Execution : Help bring marketing initiatives to life by coordinating and executing campaigns, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Create and Curate Content : Draft and compile marketing materials, to shape messaging that will resonate with target audiences and strengthen brand storytelling.
  • Enhance Cross-Team Collaboration : Work across departments, fostering alignment and synergy between marketing, communications, and other business units.
  • Support Memorable Brand Experiences : Help create engaging experiences that deepen customer and stakeholder connections to the Cummins brand through trade shows and virtual events.
  • Maintain Brand Integrity : Learn and apply Cummins brand standards, to ensure consistency and professionalism across all marketing outputs.
  • Optimize Digital Marketing Efforts : Help refine campaigns, improve reach, and boost engagement across channels by understanding the digital tools and trends of the market.
  • Enable Data-Driven Decisions : Coordinate campaign measurement inputs to support analytics that inform future strategies and demonstrate marketing impact.
  • Streamline Project Coordination : Managing communication projects and timelines to keep initiatives organized and moving forward, reducing bottlenecks, and increasing efficiency.

RESPONSIBILITIES

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Digital Media Savvy : You will need to confidently navigate digital platforms—like email automation, social media, and content management systems—to drive engagement and influence audience behavior.
  • Interpersonal & Cultural Awareness : Valuing diverse perspectives and building strong relationships across teams, enabling more inclusive and effective collaboration will help with being successful.
  • Action-Oriented Mindset : Tackling challenges with urgency and enthusiasm will help you stay ahead of deadlines and adapt quickly to shifting priorities in fast-paced marketing environments.
  • Stakeholder Balance & Accountability : You will need to anticipate the needs of various stakeholders and hold yourself accountable to deliver high-quality work that meets expectations.
  • Planning & Prioritization Skills : Being able to align your tasks with broader organizational goals and managing competing priorities will ensure your contributions are both strategic and timely.

Education/Experience

  • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
  • Has some understanding of digital marketing tools.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong copywriting/writing skills highly preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Demonstrates eagerness to learn and grow.

QUALIFICATIONS

Additional Information

  • This role has a 3 day a week onsite requirement.
  • Learns and adheres to the Accelera by Cummins brand standards.
  • Oversees organizational structure for physical and digital assets.
  • Contributes to trade show and sales support preparations.
  • 1-3 years of experience preferred.
  • Demonstrates responsibility and reliability.

Compensation (for United States)

Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The

final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate’s

qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
