Job Description

Your Team: PROXY is an in-house comprehensive solution aims to be a centralized hub, offering a one-stop-shop for all meeting-related documents, recommendations, and historical data. Users can make well-informed decisions swiftly by accessing all pertinent documents, expediting the voting processes for efficient disposal.​

PROXY Tech Team develops software solutions for IVZ business globally. We develop systems that uses latest technologies. Your Role:
As a Senior Engineer, develop and maintain applications. You are expected to make an impact right from the start. Under the direct supervision of the Manager, you are responsible for working on technology projects alongside global/ local teams or any other assigned projects from time to time and drive business results.  You should adhere to all Invesco development standards.  The ability to communicate with both business users and IT professionals is a must.

You Will Be Responsible For:
• Acts in the capacity of owing end to end dev tasks (analysis, development, unit testing and implementation).

• Perform troubleshooting, analysis and resolution of critical applications and batch process issues

• Able to set technical standards for the team and influences the team to adhere and follow them.

• Conform to documentation, coding and quality standards as defined

• Code Review, discuss, and work within agreed timeframes and provide feedback to managers on any variances arising as tasks are performed

• Prepare all necessary documentation and processes to enable ongoing support of the systems

• Communicate with internal and external customers, supervisors and management using clear, user-friendly terminology (emails, phone, meetings, etc.)

 The Experience You Bring:
• 7+ years of proven systems development experience using ASP.NET Framework MVC, Web API’s, .NET Core and React

• Cloud Infrastructure – Amazon Web Services

• Backend – SQL or Snowflake

• Good understanding of Agile

• Experience with continuous integration

• Experience with unit tests

• Exposure to batch control applications such as AutoSys, UAC etc.., is good to have.

• Good to have fundamentals of the investment processes

• Process and data flow of Equity Trading, Compliance and understanding of different instrument types is a plus

·        Maintenance of up-to-date knowledge in the appropriate technical areas

·        Able to work in a global, multicultural environment
