DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Accountant to join our team specializing in Finance for Cummins in Czech Republic, Cestlice. This position offers a hybrid work schedule: 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Prepare and maintain financial records, reports and statements
• Manage interactions with external auditors and external tax provider
• Collaborate with Cummins Shared service centre and Central finance teams
• Prepare documentation for internal and external audits
• Primary point of contact for tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis
• Monitor invoices, expenses and payments processing
• Manage accounts payable and receivable queries
• Support management with ad-hoc financial tasks and reports
• Prepare and post entries during month end close
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and relevant regulations

RESPONSIBILITIES

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Czech and English professional level
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and local financial regulations
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/ Experience:

• College, university, or equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required
• 3-5 years’ experience in Accounting/Finance
