Security Automation Engineer
What you can expect
As a Cyber Security Automation Engineer within Zoom’s Detection & Response team. You will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of the SOAR space (Security, Orchestration, Automation and Response). We are looking for an individual to perform a key role within our Detection & Response program. Design, test and build innovative automation playbooks in Cortex XSOAR to drive improvement and efficiency across the Detection and Response team.
About the Team
On this team, you'll utilize your privacy and security expertise to drive Zoom's privacy standards in engineering and products. You'll conduct source code and architecture reviews, lead privacy assessments for new features, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align and streamline privacy processes. Your role involves identifying and mitigating privacy concerns in AI-related features, defining privacy goals, and providing guidance to protect users' privacy. Additionally, you'll evaluate tools for privacy implementation, offer training, and mentor other team members in security and engineering roles. This role will not be responsible for the up and down state of the solution itself.
What we’re looking for
Have a Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
Have a minimum 3 years of experience as a SOC analyst, Incident Responder or similar defensive role.
Experience developing automation playbooks using a SOAR solution such as XSOAR, Phantom or Swimlane.
Experience in understanding of the software development life cycle.
Experience handling operational maintenance of systems or applications.
Experience developing in Python, Javascript.
Experience with API driven solution integrations.
