Position Summary
Morgan Stanley seeks a professional to join the Field Service team as a Communications Associate. This position will report within the Field Service organization and support initiatives on the Communications Team. The candidate will develop a strong knowledge of the Field Service organization as well as the broader field, and effectively manage communications tasks, coordination, and logistics, ensuring alignment with Firm branding standards and maintaining accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
Duties and Responsibilities
Communications
- Use templates and customize language for internal communications (call/meeting invites, post-program follow-ups, regular monthly emails), ensuring alignment to Firm branding standards
- Plan, draft, and deliver internal communications for a wide variety of initiatives, announcements, and memos via the Outlook blast mail tool
- Assist in the maintenance of the communications calendar and internal communications tracker
- Prepare supporting documents and materials for regular updates across multiple internal communication channels for various audiences (talking points , presentations, etc.)
- Video editing for internal podcast and other as needed video and audio and messages (Power of Service Podcast, New Hire Welcome Video, etc)
- Support logistics for national calls, virtual meetings and in person events (scheduling, calendar invites, creating registration pages using an internal web tool, attendance tracking)
- Assist coordination of internal calls and meetings, including scheduling speakers, coordinating with call vendors, and following up with business partners as needed
- Track and coordinate responses to national call follow ups with business partners, Voice of the Field (VOTF) and Field Service employees
- When necessary, obtain appropriate SEC/FINRA compliance of communications materials via the Communications Review Center (CRC )
- Reporting and Tracking
- Track audience participation and engagement with Field Service calls, events, and communications using internal reporting tools
- Maintain manual mail groups for populations within the Field Service organization (Market Service Coach, Director Level Support Professionals)
- Maintain various intranet pages and documents owned by the Field Service organization Knowledge and Skills Required
- Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills, including ability to write, review, and edit texts and documents
- Exhibits a strong sense of ownership and accountability for work, including high motivation, a strong work ethic, and a drive to succeed
- Demonstrates strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively, coupled with attention to detail and excellent follow-up capabilities
- Ability to work independently in a deadline-driven environment
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams, as well as Adobe Acrobat, and Adobe Experience Manager
Qualifications
- BA or BS preferred, but not required
- Experience of 6months to 2years
- Business writing experience preferred
- Financial Services experience preferred, but not required
