    The Senior Director, Renewals, AMER, oversees the entire renewals organization, ensuring teams meet sales targets and quotas. They develop and execute strategic plans, manage forecasts, and optimize renewal workflows. Effective collaboration with senior sales leaders, partners, and marketing is essential.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Organization Oversight: Oversee the entire renewals organization, ensuring teams achieve 100% of their sales targets and quotas.
    • Strategy Execution: Develop and execute the overall team strategy, ensuring the team meets customer retention, renewal rate, and revenue protection targets.
    • Forecast Management: Ensure the accuracy of the team's renewals forecast and pipeline, identifying opportunities for same buyer seat expansion within accounts.
    • Efficiency Improvement: Drive renewals orchestration across the organization, ensuring operational efficiency and quick resolution of process bottlenecks in high-volume renewal cycles.
    • Senior Collaboration: Work with senior sales leaders to align partners with sales team objectives.
    • Gap Communication: Identify and communicate partner capacity and capability gaps to the ecosystem team.
    Skills and Competencies:
    • Leadership & Communication: Leads the development of organizational communication strategies that engage and align diverse stakeholders at the highest levels.
    • Strategic Planning: Develops and executes strategic plans for renewals, process management, and quota assignments to drive organizational success.
    • Customer & Partner Understanding: Leads the development of strategic business initiatives that align with customers' needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
    • Value Articulation: Communicates the value of Autodesk solutions and differentiators to customers, driving strategic business outcomes.
    • Relationship Building: Develops and maintains strong, long-term relationships with clients and partners, fostering advocacy within their organizations.
    • Strategic Orientation: Coaches team members on strategic orientation, objection handling, negotiation, and operational excellence.
    Account Team Collaboration:
    • Gap Identification: Lead global renewal teams in collaborating with technical sales, emerging solutions sales, and expansion sales team leadership to identify gaps in the account base.
    • Opportunity Alignment: Coordinate with sales team leadership to align cross-sell/upsell opportunities.
    • Workflow Optimization: Create and drive connections across the extended sales team leadership to optimize renewals workflows.
    • Marketing Collaboration: Collaborate with Autodesk marketing leadership for demand generation within the sales team.
    • Customer Health Monitoring: Work with Customer Success leadership to monitor customer health signals ahead of renewals cycles.
    • Feedback Provision: Provide feedback on products and business models.

    Salary transparency

    Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based sales roles, we expect a starting On-Target Earnings (OTE) between $188,300 and $337,590. OTE is comprised of base salary plus commission target for sales roles. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
