DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and evaluate application functionality and provide recommendations to increase utilization of standard application functionality to improve business processes and capabilities.
  • Determine and document optimum application setup and configuration to meet functional requirements and specifications; configure and verify application setup and configuration.
  • Develop expertise in emerging application and solution trends and functionality; provide functional recommendations for assigned applications and systems.
  • Conduct analysis of potential application solutions, identify and recommend solutions to address functionality gaps in the application.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with relevant vendors; work with vendors to improve application functionality and resolve functionality issues.
  • Partner with process owners, business analysts, systems analysts, and architects to gather, document, and review functional, architecture, and technical requirements and define application functional designs.
  • Serve as subject matter expert and point of contact on content, processes, procedures, and functionality associated with assigned applications for projects and application support (as needed).
  • Create and manage functional specifications for a given project from which programs and configurations will be applied to create the program, application, or complete solution.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Qualifications:

  • College, university, or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related subject, or relevant equivalent experience required.
  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

  • Solution Functional Fit Analysis: Composes and decomposes a system into its component parts using procedures, tools, and work aides for the purpose of studying how well the component parts were designed, purchased, and configured to interact holistically to meet business, technical, security, governance, and compliance requirements.
  • Solution Modeling: Creates, designs, and formulates models, diagrams, and documentation using industry standards, tools, version control, and build and test automation to meet business, technical, security, governance, and compliance requirements.
  • Solution Validation Testing: Validates a configuration item change or solution using the Function's defined best practices, including the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) standards, tools, and metrics, to ensure that it works as designed and meets customer requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

Skills and Experience Needed:

  • Must have good experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Community/Experience Cloud.
  • Must have experience in working/managing complex applications and integrations.
  • Must have Automotive or Manufacturing domain experience.
  • Should have a good understanding of Dealer management and Order management related processes.
  • Must have experience in leading/managing a team of more than 8-10 people.
  • Must be able to lead or conduct requirements management activities, ensuring that the impact of changes is well understood and approved by the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Must be able to lead or conduct solution assessment and validation to ensure that functional and technical specifications meet the identified business needs.
  • Must have good knowledge of Salesforce admin area and Descriptive programming capabilities.
  • Must have experience in Salesforce technical areas and solutioning like Apex, Lightning, LWC, Integrations, etc.
  • Should have a good understanding of Salesforce architecture.
  • Should be capable of identifying solutions for complex issues/problems.
  • Should be willing to work on new areas and explore solutions to fulfill Business needs.
  • Should have understanding/experience with release migration using ScratchOrgs, VSCode, GitLab, DevOps, etc.
  • Preference: Should have worked on Automotive or Manufacturing related Salesforce processes/applications.
  • Should have experience in Agile projects and ceremonies. Should have worked on JIRA, Confluence, backlog prioritization, and sprint planning.
  • Should have experience in working with cross-functional teams and collaborating with multiple stakeholders (technical and non-technical).
  • Must have good verbal and written communication skills.

Experience:

  • 8-10 years (minimum 6 years relevant in Salesforce).
