We’re seeking someone to join our team as a Risk Analytics Quantitative Associate.

The Scenario and Credit Stress Analytics team has global responsibility to develop and maintain models generating scenario forecast and models estimating credit loss under such scenarios. The models are used both for internal risk management and regulatory purposes. The group also provides support for internal clients with quantitative analyses and solutions.

How can models give actionable insight into where risk is concentrated? As an associate in the Risk Analytics team you will have an opportunity to understand how models are used for quantifying risk and how model results feed into capital management for regulatory and internal risk management purposes.

What you'll do in the role:

  • Participate in research, development and implementation of risk models

  • Perform econometric analyses to support methodology development

  • Perform backtests, stress tests, scenario analyses and sensitivity studies

  • Conduct on-demand analyses of model changes

  • Perform data analyses for various purposes

  • Collaborate with teams across the globe

What you'll bring to the role:

  • A degree in a quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Mathematical Finance, Physics, Computer Science or Engineering

  • A thorough knowledge of mathematics and statistics and an internal drive to challenge and improve models with quantitative methods

  • Code development skills (Python experience is an advantage)

  • Clear thinking, good business sense and judgment

  • Genuine and broad interest in financial markets and derivatives

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Excellent command of English both written and verbal

  • At least two years of relevant experience
